Best Buds

Keegan loves rough housing with his Daddy. I just love this picture!

Happy Haircut

Haircuts can be a challenge in our house, as little Keegan seems to think we are torturing him. And with as fast as his hair grows, we've had our share of tears. However, this last week we made a breakthrough! We plopped him down in front of Barney, gave him a graham cracker, and he was as happy as could be!

99 Balloons

My good friend Kelly had this video posted on her blog, and I couldn't help but find the need to post it to ours as well. May this remind you of how precious life is, and how thankful we should be for every day the Good Lord allows us to take another breath of life...

Pumpkin hat boy!

My sister came to visit this weekend, and one of her friends made this adorable pumpkin hat for Keegan. He usually won't keep a hat on for more than 5 seconds, but for some reason, he really liked this one. He was quite proud of himself!

Sunny fall day at Grammy's

Keegan's Grammy (Shawn's mom) took these pictures the other day. He loves to play with Grammy's dog Sadie, as they run up and down the berm, and look out over the valley.

Keegan's "strut"

This is an old pic, but when Keegs first started walking, he was quite proud of himself. Our good friend Kelly caught him "strutting" down their sidewalk one evening. What a ham!

So Proud

Early Saturday morning a friend of ours, who is a deputy was injured during a confrontation where he was trying to arrest someone, and they went on the fight with him. He broke his leg in three places, and had surgery yesterday. Fortunately, he will make a full recovery. Shawn had to notify the wife in the wee hours of the morning, and of course, she was very upset to see an officer on her doorstep. She experienced what every spouse of a cop doesn't want to have happen. I am thankful Shawn was able to be there with her, and am so proud of what he and the other officers do everyday to help protect the rest of us.

A fun day of golf!

A few weeks ago, Security Title put together a team to play in the ERA Landmark/MDA golf tournament. Although our team didn't win, I did win the ladies long drive contest, and earned my new nickname...Boom Boom Toresdahl.

Our little man

This pic sums up Keegan's summer...hanging out in the backyard, barefoot and playing with the hose. He didn't seem to mind getting soaked by the cold water. What a goofy kid!
